The daily passenger flow at Yugo-Zapadnaya station, opened at the end of 2025, is 14,000 people. At Putilovskaya, about 2,000 passengers pass through the entrance per day. This data for January 28 was presented on January 29 by St. Petersburg Vice Governor Kirill Polyakov on the TV channel Saint Petersburg.
For comparison, at Devyatkino station, there are about 80,000 people daily, and at Komendantsky Prospekt — around 50,000. Polyakov noted that passengers have not yet fully gotten used to the new metro stations.
The issue of passenger flow arose due to residents« complaints about insufficient ground transport access to the stations. According to the vice governor, current transport capacity in these areas is at 60–70%. City authorities have already strengthened routes but continue to study logistics and are ready for additional measures if necessary.
The Yugo-Zapadnaya and Putilovskaya stations were put into operation at the end of 2025. Putilovskaya is a transfer station to Kirovsky Zavod station.
