Residents of Omsk have complained about the lack of public toilets in the city. Messages were left by residents in the Telegram channel «Fadina Communicates 2.0». Some claim that to find a cubicle, they have to use the 2GIS service. But the search is not always successful. Some believe that the shortage of toilets is one of Omsk«s main problems.

2GIS shows everything indiscriminately for this query, and even the 24-hour toilets don«t actually operate round the clock. And I wish this issue in the »cultural« capital was addressed in a beautiful and cultured manner, writes an Omsk resident named Alexandra.

In Omsk, there«s essentially a toilet crisis. There are no toilets on Ordzhonikidze Street, none on Gertsena Street, in the Amur district they can be counted on one hand, and none in the Kirovsky district. So even if toilets are marked on the map, you might not make it to them in time, another resident supported her.

The Omsk city hall responded to the residents« messages and stated that currently, only four modular toilets are in service in the city.

Modular toilets in service in the city: Martynov Boulevard, Pobedy Boulevard, Yubileyny Square on Truda Street.
