No Ticket Required: Free Toilets at Yaroslavl Bus Station

Public toilets at the bus station in Yaroslavl have been made free for all. This was announced by the «Transport Organizer of Yaroslavl Region».

«From today, to use the toilet at the bus station, there is no need to present a bus ticket or look for change. The sanitary rooms are open for all Yaroslavl residents and city guests around the clock,» according to the message.

The institution explained that previously, the premises where the toilets are located were rented out to an entrepreneur. But now the contract has been terminated. Repairing the restrooms and maintaining cleanliness there are planned to be handled by the government institution.

«The cleaning schedule is standard; we clean every two hours, and more often if necessary. This year, a major renovation of the premises is planned,» the institution said.

To use the toilet, one needs to pass through a metal detector at the entrance to the bus station, then go to the platform and descend to the premises on the basement level.

«In the near future, free toilet rooms will appear at all bus stations and bus stops in Yaroslavl Region that are serviced by »Yarobltranscom«,» said the «Transport Organizer of Yaroslavl Region».
