No February 23 military parade in Omsk
The last winter parade in Omsk was held before the pandemic.
There will be no ceremonial parade of the Omsk garrison on February 23 in the city. This was reported to NGS55.RU by the governor«s press secretary, Mina Akhverdiyeva. According to her, flower-laying ceremonies are planned for Defender of the Fatherland Day.
«A parade is not planned, as in previous years. On February 23, a traditional ceremonial flower-laying will take place at the memorials,» the governor«s press secretary clarified.
The last parade on February 23 in Omsk was held in 2020. The festive events were canceled due to anti-COVID measures and the difficult epidemiological situation.
