Nizhny Novgorod State Art Museum Increases Ticket Prices

From 1 February, the Nizhny Novgorod State Art Museum (NGKhM) has increased prices for visits. Now the cost of a full ticket is 500 rubles (about $7 at current rates), as reported on the museum«s website.
The cost of discounted tickets (for schoolchildren, students, and pensioners) is 250 rubles (about $3 at current rates). Prices for tours have also changed. For a group of 1 to 10 people, the cost has increased to 4,000 rubles (about $53 at current rates). For groups of more than ten people, it is 300 rubles per visitor (about $4 at current rates).
A family entrance ticket (up to five people) will cost 1,500 rubles (about $20 at current rates). Meanwhile, children under seven years old can enter for free.
“Thank you for your understanding and support. We will continue to do everything possible to ensure that art remains accessible and inspiring for everyone,” wrote museum representatives.
At the end of January, at the Nizhny Novgorod Fair, a large-scale art exhibition opened called “Art Mir”. For the ninth time, it brings together authors from all corners of Russia and other countries and provides them with a platform to showcase their creativity and communicate with viewers.
