Nizhny Novgorod park area traffic partially blocked for tram repairs

Traffic restrictions will be imposed at the intersection of Chkalov and October Revolution streets in Nizhny Novgorod from February 1 to March 20 due to tram track repairs.

Traffic will be partially restricted at the intersection of Chkalov and October Revolution streets in Nizhny Novgorod. The restrictions will be in effect from February 1 to March 20, the city administration reported.

City officials advise drivers to plan alternative routes and heed temporary traffic signs during the construction period.

During this period, tram tracks will be repaired on the section. Because of this, motorists will not be able to drive directly from October Revolution Street to Obukhova Street. On other directions, the roadway will also be narrowed.

The restrictions will be introduced from 07:00 on February 1. They will last until 22:00 on March 20. Drivers are advised to be more careful when planning routes through this section and to follow road sign instructions.

Earlier we reported that a new dedicated lane for public transport will appear in Nizhny Novgorod. It will be set up on Belinsky Street for trams and buses.
