Nicki Minaj: Bullying made me Trump's top fan

Nicki Minaj stated that she became «Trump«s number one fan» because she could not remain indifferent to what she believes is bullying of him. As media reports, the rapper explained her unexpected support for the politician.

Minaj admitted that watching how Trump was treated made her feel solidarity with him. «To be honest, President Trump... when I saw how he was treated, over and over, I just couldn«t deal with it,» she said.

«I felt that a lot of this bullying, smear campaigns, and all these lies have been done to me for years. And I saw in real time it happening to someone else, and I didn«t think he deserved it,» the singer added.

In one podcast, Minaj recounted when she began closely following Trump«s politics. «During the last election campaign... I saw something and immediately wrote to an acquaintance, saying »This is a mistake.« And I also said, »All this makes me want to get into politics,«» she stated, without specifying what exactly upset her.

«And then a few months ago something happened that, even if I wasn«t going to do it before...», she continued mysteriously, refusing to go into details. «Sometimes people can push you so hard that they drive you to your next calling. That»s what happened to me,» Minaj said.
Recently, the rapper appeared alongside the businessman at his Trump Accounts Summit event, where she announced from the stage: «I«m probably the president»s number one fan.» Shortly after, Minaj reported on social media that Trump had given her his gold card.
According to the card«s website, obtaining it requires a large deposit and fee payment. It also claims that such a card can serve as a basis for a visa if its owner can bring substantial benefit to the US, potentially speeding up citizenship for the Trinidad native.
Meanwhile, both Minaj and Trump were unhappy with the broadcast of the Grammys ceremony, where host Trevor Noah sharply mocked their recent alliance. The rapper then posted a series of angry posts on social media, and Trump wrote on his page that the Grammy Awards are the «WORST» and almost unwatchable.
