New Kindergarten to Open in Oktyabrsky District from September 1

Today, the head of the Khimmetall group of companies, Yevgeny Gavrilov, presented the city with a new municipal kindergarten in the Oktyabrsky district. The kindergarten was built entirely with the company«s funds. The financing of the facility and its construction have been the company»s investment in creating the city«s social environment. Novosibirsk Mayor Maxim Kudryavtsev came to accept the preschool educational institution.

The kindergarten is located in an annex of building 6 of the Nikoly Park residential complex and has its own dedicated playgrounds of 0.3 hectares (0.74 acres). The new children«s institution, along with the land plot, is being transferred to the municipality»s balance sheet, and it is expected that the kindergarten will open its doors on September 1. It will be available to preschoolers from the Nikoly Park residential complex and children from other houses within the territorial attachment to the new kindergarten.

The new preschool institution will become a branch of kindergarten No. 501, is designed for 80 places, and is of a combined type. This means that the kindergarten will include several groups of different orientations and will be able to accommodate both fully healthy children and children with disabilities.

The company has taken on not only the construction but also the complete provision of the kindergarten with everything necessary. The kindergarten is equipped to the latest standards, and all necessary professional equipment has already been delivered — for the kitchen area and food workshops (several are provided — hot, cold, and fish dish workshops), and a laundry room. Toilets have been arranged, furniture has been partially installed, and there are thermal cabinets for drying outerwear.

And the city residents have already appreciated the results of the company«s work — the first stage of the Yeltsovsky Park built by the company in the Kalininsky district on Tankovaya Street and the well-appointed, modern Heroes of Donbass Square (formerly Voinsky), where Khimmetall participated in a comprehensive reconstruction.

In the near future, the holding will begin the comprehensive development of a new territory in the area of the meat processing plant on Dusi Kovalchuk Street and the construction of the Timiryazevsky Park residential complex, where it will also create new social infrastructure and reconstruct existing facilities. In particular, the company will build a municipal kindergarten for 170 places.
