New Communication Station Launched in Village Near Maryina Gorge

Telecom infrastructure is being modernized in the Tyumen region. This time, a new base station was built in the village of Isetskoye, 80 km from the regional capital. 8,000 people live here, and tourists constantly stop by. The latter are attracted by the beautiful nature, good fishing, and Maryina Gorge located along the way — it is considered one of the most beautiful places in the region.
The new telecom facility operates in a high-frequency range. This is necessary so that data transfer speeds are sufficient for using a navigator, video calls, sending photos, online streaming, listening to music, and downloading movies. The changes in mobile internet operation have also affected key state institutions. The work was carried out by engineers from MegaFon.
«We pay special attention to rural settlements, especially those where life is bustling and data traffic is steadily growing. Isetskoye is one such place; it is the third largest village in the region, where residents of the regional center and other large cities regularly come for the »Siberian vibe.« Moreover, mobile internet speeds are even more important for local residents so that they can use digital services and watch their favorite movies and series online even during peak network hours,» emphasized the director of the operator in the Tyumen region, Evgeny Pflaumer.
The carried-out work is a continuation of the program to improve digital conditions in small settlements in the region. Thus, last year, over 100 telecom facilities were built and modernized in the region, including in the villages of Zinovo, Karabash, Berdyugino, and the settlement of Kavdyk.
