New base station covers Livadia's coastal bays

Tourists visit the coast in summer to relax by the water
The telecom infrastructure of the Nakhodka Urban District has been prepared for the tourist season. To provide communication for guests and residents of the village of Livadia, an additional base station has been installed here. It covers, among others, the Tikhaya Zavod and Priboinaya bays.
The new equipment operates in several frequency bands. This is necessary for stable 4G coverage and data transfer speeds of up to 70 Mbps during summer peak loads.
The work was carried out by MegaFon«s technical team. Previously, specialists expanded data transmission channels by laying an optical communication line over 9 km long. Additionally, the communication engineers put into operation an additional base station on the main beaches of Livadia.
«Livadia and the adjacent bays demonstrate a steady growth in tourist flow, which annually increases the load on the network. Investments in infrastructure allow us to stay ahead of this demand. This provides digital comfort for subscribers during their vacation,» noted the operator«s director in Primorsky Krai, Oleg Nikitin.
The signal from the new base station covers tourist bases in the Avangard area of the village of Livadia. There are clean sandy beaches where tourists come in the summer season to relax on the seashore. Previously, the network was also modernized near Cape De Livron — one of the popular tourist spots in Primorye. Users could notice changes in the area from Lake Livadia to Cape Koziy.
