New 4G Telecom Equipment Installed in Verkhneklyuchevskoye

Additional telecom infrastructure has been deployed in the Katai District. New communications equipment was installed in the village of Verkhneklyuchevskoye, where about 500 people live.
The fourth-generation network now covers key administrative and educational institutions, residential buildings, and adjacent areas. The mobile internet speed is sufficient for online learning, remote work, video calls, accessing financial and government services, and remote medical consultations. The work was carried out by engineers from MegaFon (a Russian mobile operator).
“We monitor where there is a need to expand and improve coverage—be it in rural areas, along highways, or in the suburbs—and we respond to such requests. After the installation of the new equipment, approximately 500 residents of the region have gained the opportunity to be part of the modern digital world,” said Gennady Zhukov, director of the operator in the Kurgan Region.
Such infrastructure projects for network development in remote and sparsely populated areas are being implemented under a long-term program focused on the real needs of subscribers. Analytics show a high demand for digital services in Verkhneklyuchevskoye. Since the beginning of the year, its residents have downloaded an amount of traffic comparable to watching over 1,600 episodes of a TV series.
