The Russian Ministry of Economic Development has included the «Tukansky Metallurgical Complex» in the register of residents of the «Beloretsk» advanced development territory (TOR). The company will invest 10 billion rubles ($111 million at current rates) in the construction of a plant for processing iron ore concentrate into granulated cast iron.

As explained by Rustam Muratov, First Deputy Prime Minister of the republic, the enterprise will operate using the innovative and environmentally safe FCIT technology.

«The resident will supply primary iron for metallurgical, engineering and defense enterprises. The products manufactured as part of the investment project are in demand not only in Russia, but also in export markets,» Muratov emphasized.

The project is planned for 2026–2030, creating 157 jobs. The plant will reach its design capacity of 332.5 thousand tons per year by 2028, occupy less than 15 hectares, and provide environmentally clean production with a closed water cycle. The finished products are planned to be supplied both in Russia and for export, including to CIS countries and China.

Bashkortostan also plans to build a new data processing center — we explained who needs it and why in this article.
