Abnormal frosts in Murmansk Oblast are a thing of the past, replaced by less extreme temperatures. Forecasters from the Murmansk UGMS (Hydrometeorological Service) reported the weather for February 4.
The region will be cloudy with clear intervals. Snow is expected in places. Wind is westerly and northwesterly, especially strong in the north of the region.
«Temperature -1 to -6 °C (30 to 21 °F), locally -6 to -11 °C (21 to 12 °F). Icy conditions,» the forecasters said.
Recall, the festival «Hello, Sun» (marking the sun«s return after polar night) took place in Murmansk, as captured in photos.
