Multi-car crash causes 6-km jam on Ring Road
Four cars collided on the morning of February 5 on the outer ring of the Ring Road, causing a traffic jam several kilometers long.

The collision occurred around 8:40 a.m. at the 45th kilometer of the outer ring of the Ring Road. Four passenger cars were involved in the accident.
According to the press service of the Federal Road Agency «North-West», the first and second lanes were blocked after the incident.
By 11 a.m., according to Yandex.Maps, a six-kilometer traffic jam had formed. The congestion stretched from the exit near Yanino-1 to the Murmansk Highway.
This is not the first multi-car accident on the Ring Road this week. On February 2, a crash involving 15 cars on the inner ring near the interchange with the Murmansk Highway also caused a multi-kilometer traffic jam. In that incident, carsharing vehicles were severely damaged.
On January 31, four road accidents occurred one after another on a section of the Ring Road. No casualties were reported.
