Moscow conference unveils path to future profession for students

At the second annual Process Analytics Conference Sber Process Mining Conf2026, the bank for the first time launched a student track aimed at training young specialists in Process Mining. The track format was designed as a practical entry point into the profession — from training and working with cases to first career offers.

Within the track, participants could gain new knowledge and skills in process analytics, take part in an educational game, communicate with Sber recruiters, and learn about career prospects.
Students were shown the functionality of Sber«s Process Mining platform, and were also given the opportunity after the conference to take an online course on the BootcampLabs platform to acquire practical skills in using the platform.
During the educational game, students learned how to detect inefficiencies in processes, tested their knowledge in process analytics, tried their hand at creating process models and investigating them, and demonstrated erudition. The top three participants in the educational game got the chance to go through the selection process for an internship interview at Sber. All track participants were awarded certificates of participation and commemorative prizes.
Sber views internships as a strategic tool for forming a personnel reserve. Among current Sber employees are winners of Process Mining case championships in 2024–2025 and graduates of Process Mining educational courses who started their journey with internships.
By the end of 2030, Sber will invest over 1 billion rubles (approximately $11 million at current rates) in systematic work with universities and students — in courses, educational programs, and practical formats. The bank is developing online learning for students from regions, integrating Process Mining courses into university programs, conducting off-site educational formats at SberUniversity, and regularly working with teachers.
— Process Mining is one of the key areas in Sber for improving the efficiency of business processes. However, sustainable growth of AI technologies is impossible without specialists who can not only work with data but also see processes as a whole, and apply analytics in practice, — said Taras Skvortsov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of Sberbank. — By launching the student track at Sber Process Mining Conf, we are purposefully building a bridge between education and real business tasks. For students, this is a unique opportunity to gain applied experience and start a career in a in-demand profession, and for Sber — an investment in the development of the Process Mining professional community and personnel potential.
The conference Sber Process Mining Conf2026 is taking place in Moscow. Participants are discussing how artificial intelligence is changing process analytics, what prospects the integration of AI agents opens up, and what challenges businesses face when implementing new technologies. Case studies of Process Mining application are shared by experts from Aeroflot, MegaFon, Nornickel, the government of Lipetsk Oblast, the Ministry of Digital Development of Chelyabinsk Oblast, developer Sminex, insurance company Renaissance Life, and other companies from various industries. A separate program is provided for students: a tour of the headquarters, a meeting with the HR team, and an intellectual game, the winners of which will get a chance to go through the selection process for an internship at Sber.
