Miniature sculptures of artisans installed on Kungur streets

The small bronze figures represent various crafts that were once prominent in the city of Kungur.
A new amusement has appeared in Kungur for tourists and locals: now you can not just walk around the city, but also search for small Easter egg sculptures along the way. Seven figurines of artisan masters have been installed on various streets.
The author of the series of miniature bronze sculptures «Artisans of Kungur» is Kungur native Andrey Belyov, a teacher at the local art and industrial college. Each work is dedicated to a separate craft that Kungur was once famous for. The list includes a potter and stone carver, shoemaker and blacksmith, carpenter-joiner and artisan (with the note «dreamer»), as well as a gingerbread maker. The height of each sculpture is 30 centimeters (about 12 inches).
The administration of Kungur District published photos of all the sculptures in its VKontakte group, but has not yet named the addresses where they were installed. The city hall suggested that residents tell where they have already encountered the bronze figurines. Subscribers eagerly responded, listing various places — from the park and pottery shop to the Sylva River Bridge. And one of the townswomen said that the sculptures have already been given a special name — «kungurchiki» (little Kungur people).
Earlier we showed sculptures of bears «in images», installed on the main Perm embankment.
