A memorial plaque honoring musician Yuri Khoy could be installed on a five-story building in Voronezh where he once lived. The proposal has gained support from local authorities.

A memorial plaque in honor of Yuri Khoy, who lived in this house, may appear on a five-story building on the left bank of Voronezh. The idea has been supported by Governor Alexander Gusev, Mayor Sergei Petrin, and Voronezh State Duma deputy Yevgeny Revenko.

The plaque could be installed on house number 119 on Tsiolkovsky Street, where the musician lived for a long time. However, no specific deadlines for the installation have been set yet.
Yuri Khoy (born Yuri Kliniskikh) is the leader of the Russian punk rock band Sektor Gaza (18+). In Voronezh, there have been talks for years about the need to erect a monument to him in the city, but authorities have instead decided to create a rock square on the left bank.
