The udm-info news agency won a court case against the Glazov District Hospital in a reputation protection lawsuit. This was reported by the united press service of the courts of Udmurtia.
According to available information, on April 19, 2025, the udm-info news agency«s website and social media published an article stating that the Glazov Interdistrict Hospital was violating inpatients» rights to receive fermented milk products.
The medical institution filed a lawsuit against the media outlet, claiming that the article damaged the business reputation of the clinic, particularly its management, which, according to the article«s author, had deliberately been working for several years to break equipment so that city residents could not receive products from the dairy kitchen (a facility providing milk-based nutrition for infants and patients).
However, the hospital failed to win the case. The defendant proved that the published article was based on data provided by the prosecutor«s office, which is an official and reliable source.
During the proceedings, a linguistic examination was also conducted. As a result of the hearings, the lawsuit from the Glazov Interdistrict Hospital was dismissed. The udm-info news agency won the case.
