A resident of the Yaroslavl region has won three million rubles (about $33,000 at current rates) in the lottery from Stoloto. According to the organization«s press service, the winner has not yet appeared at the lottery center to claim the prize.
The draw took place on January 26. To win the super prize of 30 million rubles (about $330,000 at current rates), one had to guess five numbers in the first field and two in the second. The amount of the win depends on how many numbers from the drawn combination the participant guessed. The winner from the Yaroslavl region guessed five numbers in the first field and then one in the second.
The organizers suggested that the lucky winner has not yet learned of his victory. But it has already been revealed that the newly minted millionaire bought the ticket for 65 rubles (about $1 at current rates) in the Stoloto mobile app.
We remind you that the general deadline for claiming winnings through the Stoloto lottery center is about 3.5 years from the date of the draw.

Earlier, winners in the New Year«s lotteries of Mechtaillion became known. In early January, two residents of the Yaroslavl region won one million rubles (about $11,000 at current rates) each. Also, this year a resident of Rostov Veliky won in the National Lottery. Pensioner Vera has already claimed her million (about $11,000 at current rates).
Since 2014, all lotteries in Russia have been state-run, organized by the Ministry of Finance of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Sports of the Russian Federation. In case of a win, a tax of 13% must be paid.
