Major Bridge Overhaul Begins in Staroyuryevsky District
On the 40th kilometer of the Caspian–Staroyuryevo road in the Staroyuryevsky district of the Tambov region, work has begun on the major restoration of a bridge crossing over the Lesnoy Voronezh river.

The repair works are being carried out under the national project «Infrastructure for Life» and the People«s Program of United Russia, created with input from voters. The contractor is to perform a set of works, including restoration of the road surface, reconstruction of spans and supports, as well as renewal of sidewalks, stairways, and outdoor lighting systems.
The work is planned in two phases, which will allow traffic to be maintained. During the repair period, reverse traffic will be organized with a speed limit of 40 km/h. The length of the bridge under repair is 62.46 meters. The total length of the section subject to major repair, including approaches, reaches 200 meters. Completion of all works and commissioning of the renovated facility is planned for November 2026. This year in the Tambov region, under the same national project, it is planned to repair over 80 kilometers of roads and four bridge structures, as well as to build an overpass in Michurinsk.
