«In municipal general education institutions, classes for grades 1-11 in the first shift are conducted using distance learning technologies,» it said in the city hall«s message.
Schoolchildren in Magnitogorsk are being exempted from lessons for the third day in a row. On January 22, when it was -24 degrees Celsius (-11°F) outside, students in grades 1-4 did not study. On the morning of January 23, it cooled down to -27 degrees Celsius (-17°F), and all classes stayed home.
