Legendary Restaurant Strekaza Closes in Voronezh

The restaurant «Strekaza» in Voronezh closed in mid-January. This was announced on the 22nd in the restaurant«s group on VKontakte (VK).
«Good day, dear and beloved guests! Unfortunately, the little restaurant »Strekaza« is no longer operating,» the post states.
Not only the popular location on Plekhanovskaya, 53 has closed. According to data from Yandex Maps, the «Strekaza» on Dimitrova Street is also no longer operating — there, the restaurant was located near the Levoberezhny bus station. Even the establishments« website does not open.
Moreover, on one of the classifieds websites, a message appeared about renting out the premises on Plekhanovskaya. It describes a space equipped for catering, 500 sq. m. with two ovens and a ready kitchen. The Voronezh1.ru correspondent was unable to contact the author of the ad. It was also not possible to reach the restaurant by phone.
The «Strekaza» on Plekhanovskaya opened in the early 2000s, and in 2014, a location on Dimitrova appeared. For a long time, it was not a restaurant but a pizzeria — one of the first in the city to offer home delivery. The legal owner of the establishments was the company «Restoranchik». According to Rusprofile, its revenue in 2024 was 60 million rubles (approximately $600,000 at current rates), profit — 1.5 million rubles (approximately $15,000).
