Two sections of the Tobol River embankment are currently in the design and estimate documentation stage. These are the stretch from Klimov Street to Burov-Petrov Street, near the Vorobyovy Gory shopping center and the section from 7th Bolnichnaya Street in Shevelevka to the Energetik stadium-park.

New construction includes the Mayak residential complex and Kurganets shopping center near Kurgan Park.

Another new embankment is appearing on the shore of Lake Chernoye (Black Lake) in Zaozerny. Lighting poles have already been installed, and piles are being driven to build a boardwalk. It was reported last November that the first phase of work would cover the area from Pervomaysky Prospekt to Maltsev Prospekt. The pedestrian zone will stretch for 627 meters. However, as verified by our correspondent, the lighting poles extend all the way to the Rayony Kvartaly residential complex closer to Mostostroiteley Street.
