Kurgan residents reclaim heat after shutdown
In Kurgan on 5 February, employees of Heat Networks (Teplovye Seti) are checking equipment along with management company specialists after fixing a leak on the Sever-2 heat main. If radiators are cold and there is no hot water, residents should contact their management company, the press service of the Kurgan Generating Company told 45.RU.
On 4 February, energy workers repaired the Sever-2 heat main. During the work, heating and hot water were shut off in the Severny district. The temperature dropped in apartments in the central part of the city. The repair was completed at 20:00, after which pipeline filling and adjustment of the thermal-hydraulic regime began. In the Severny district, radiators warmed up around 23:00; in the central part, adjustment work finished a bit later.
In the near future, energy workers will cover the new section of pipe with anti-corrosion paint. It will be covered with trays, caulked, and the landscaping will be restored in a winter variant with crushed stone fill. In spring, new asphalt will be laid.
The Kurgan Generating Company explained that residents do not need to apply anywhere for recalculations. They will be made based on acts that KGC will transfer to the energy sales company Vostok.
