Residents have actively joined the voting: over 5,000 votes were cast and nearly 500 comments were left. Route No. 55, by the way, became the voting leader.
Illegal business in Shumikha: sham marriages with SMO participants for payouts
A criminal group was detained in Shumikha; they were engaged in deceiving and embezzling payouts to participants of the special military operation. Since May 2024, the suspect, together with his ex-wife, sought out single men in different districts of the region. The pair misled the men and arranged sham marriages with them. After concluding the contracts, the payouts due to the servicemen were appropriated by the individuals involved, who disposed of them at their own discretion, buying, for example, expensive cars.
The criminal scheme was reported to the Ketovsky District Prosecutor«s Office by the sister of a deceased SMO participant. It turned out he had been married to the detained woman. A check showed that a few days before departing for the military unit, the woman»s brother and the suspect had gotten married.
«The woman, however, had no intention of starting a family and was pursuing the self-serving goal of receiving payments. To protect the applicant»s rights, the prosecutor«s office filed a lawsuit to have the marriage declared invalid. The court granted the stated claims,»clarified the Trans-Urals Prosecutor«s Office.
Deputies of the Kurgan Regional Duma later discussed the appearance of special «brides» in the region: women were marrying SMO participants just days before the men were sent to the combat zone.
Dog attack on schoolgirl in Ketovsky District
Dogs attacked a girl in the village of Sadovoe, Ketovsky District. The injured girl«s mother reported it happened in a private residential area. The Investigative Committee»s Directorate for Kurgan Oblast initiated a criminal case on negligence, and the child«s mother told 45.RU about her daughter»s condition and how it all happened.
They did a dressing; the wound is large and torn, but not inflamed. Everything is good. The edges of the wound were stitched, a drain was left in the middle. There«s an open fracture on her leg, they put on a cast. She»s getting injections, antibiotics on an anti-rabies schedule, and painkillers. For now, my daughter and I are in the hospital under observation, of course we aren«t going to school.
Buses to Utyak frozen solid
A Kurgan resident posted a photo on social media of the iced-over door of bus No. 14, reporting that it was very cold on public transport. The city hall responded that from the photo it was «impossible to determine when, on which bus, and in which region it was taken,» adding that route No. 14 is serviced by 2023-model Simaz buses equipped with heaters. «No complaints on this issue have been received from passengers,» the administration added. The author of the photo, a woman named Oksana, later told 45.RU about how the driver and conductor suffer in the freezing bus.
Poor drivers and conductors. Before we rode in PAZ buses, at least it was warm. The driver says he drives and his feet freeze so much he can«t feel them. How do they work like that all day? We»re freezing too. We ride for more than an hour. Everyone says these are new buses, but you have no idea how new they are! They«re cold, the heater doesn»t work, the interviewee reported.
