Kronstadt Updates Lighting on Makarovskaya Street
In Kronstadt, on Makarovskaya Street, the replacement of old streetlights with modern LED fixtures has begun. The work is scheduled for completion by May.

The reconstruction of outdoor lighting has commenced on Makarovskaya Street in Kronstadt. All work, including the installation of 56 new energy-efficient fixtures, is set to be completed in May.
The design of the LED streetlights was specially developed to harmonize with the historic buildings. The new equipment consumes less electricity while providing better light quality. To enhance safety, pedestrian crossings will be highlighted with a contrasting color.
Kronstadt was the first in the region to begin implementing LED lighting, systematically updating it since 2012. Last year, 240 streetlights were installed on Tsitadelskaya Road, sections of Tsitadelskoye Highway, and Gidrostroiteley Street. Another 58 fixtures were mounted at the end of the year on Posadskaya Street.
