Kirov Rosgvard Officers Detain Theft Suspect

In Kirov at 14:00, an alarm button was triggered at a store on Oktyabrsky Prospekt. Officers of the Rosgvard (Russian National Guard) private security service responded to the call.
The store security guard pointed out one of the female visitors to the Rosgvard officers. He explained that while reviewing CCTV footage, he noticed that the previous day, a similar woman had entered the store twice and walked past the register with two bottles of whiskey without paying. The total value of the stolen alcohol exceeded 4,000 rubles ($44 at current rates).
The officers detained a 38-year-old woman with multiple prior convictions. She was handed over to police for further investigation.
