KGK Updates on Heating Restoration in Kurgan Following Accident

In KGK, they explained what is happening with the heat supply to homes in Kurgan after the morning accident. The company noted that due to a power outage at some heating points and pumping stations in the city, pumping equipment was shut down. As a result, the circulation of the heat carrier in the heating system stopped, and in some buildings, radiators could have cooled and the temperature of hot water decreased (or it was cut off entirely).

«From 8:30, the phased activation of pumping equipment began, and consequently, the restoration of the thermo-hydraulic regime and circulation of the heat carrier. The pressure drop in the heating system is gradually increasing, the speed of the heat carrier is returning to normal,» the company«s press service reports.

Director of KGK Alexander Pribylev added that according to data as of 11:00, the hydraulic regime has been restored in Severny, Energitiki, Zapadny, Solnechny Boulevard, approximately up to Krasina Street.

«The deviation of the heat carrier temperature from the schedule is not critical and amounted to 11%. Our specialists are monitoring the situation and promptly carrying out the necessary adjustment work,» added Pribylev.
