Kelly Clarkson's Show Ends After Seven Seasons

Kelly Clarkson is officially saying goodbye to daytime television. NBCUniversal and the singer herself announced that «The Kelly Clarkson Show» will end after the current season, drawing a close to the program«s seven-year history.

In a statement, Kelly explained that she needs to «prioritize her children,» calling this step «necessary and right for the next stage of our lives.» The singer is raising two children from her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock, who passed away in August 2025 at the age of 48.

Clarkson expressed gratitude to the production teams in Los Angeles and New York, NBCUniversal, musicians, guests, and viewers who have supported her from day one. She called the past seven years «amazing» and said she feels «forever grateful and honored» to have hosted the show.

«This is not a goodbye,» said Kelly, hinting that she will continue with music, give live concerts, and may occasionally return to the iconic red chair on «The Voice.»
The program first aired in 2019 and quickly became a leader in daytime television, earning 24 Daytime Emmy Awards, including four awards for «Outstanding Daytime Talk Show» and four personal wins for Clarkson. On average, the show attracted about 1.2 million viewers per day, regularly ranking in the top three most popular syndicated daytime talk shows.
It is reported that the show«s content this season alone has garnered over 2 billion views on various online platforms, and the musical segments »Kellyoke« continue to dominate users» feeds.
