Griffin described a recent encounter with a critic who, she said, demonstrated Rogan«s influence on his audience. «He was trying to convince me of all these Joe conspiracy theories, his strange supplements and veins,» the comedian said.
Griffin also urged fans to discuss political views with their neighbors.

She claimed she knew Rogan from earlier days when they both started in comedy, but his role has since changed drastically. «I knew Joe back when he had hair and was a comedian, I liked him, he was nice. But now he«s turned into this very influential—though he doesn»t say it—right-wing guy who gives a platform to the right, and guys really believe him,» Griffin explained. According to her, «straight guys aren«t getting vaccinated because of Dr. Joe Rogan.»
The comedian spoke about her personal life in a recent essay.
Although Griffin called Rogan a «right-wing guy,» his political views have reportedly been more varied. He supported Senator Bernie Sanders in the 2020 Democratic primaries and has hosted guests with diverse political perspectives.
Griffin experienced personal changes after her divorce and a brief romance.

These comments came just days after Griffin urged her fans to find out which of their neighbors support former President Donald Trump. «I live in Los Angeles. It happens in certain places in Los Angeles,» she said on her show. «And I think it«s time to talk to neighbors in real life. Find out whether they»re supporters of the MAGA movement or not.»
«Sorry, but we need to know who«s on our team and start planning,» she added.
Besides these statements, Griffin recently experienced major changes in her personal life. After a painful divorce from marketing expert Randy Bick in early 2025, the comedian revealed she briefly dated a man much younger than herself. «Speaking of surprises, I accidentally fell in love with a 23-year-old. Because of his age, he didn«t have the usual sexism, misogyny, and prejudices that men my age have. It seemed like he saw me,» she wrote in an essay in 2025.
Griffin described how she was «very comfortable with him, and I felt very at ease just spending time together. It could never last long, and we both knew that. But it was nice to know that my heart could still feel that way in my 60s, and it was nice that the universe showed me a guy I really liked and respected.»
