In the voiceover, the princess said: «On World Cancer Day, my thoughts are with everyone who has been diagnosed, is undergoing treatment, or is finding their way to recovery. Cancer affects so many lives — not only patients, but families, friends, and those who care for them.»
Princess Kate visited the Royal Marsden hospital in Chelsea in January 2025.
She acknowledged the difficulty of recovery. «As anyone who has been through this journey knows, it is not linear,» she continued. «There are moments of fear and exhaustion. But also moments of strength, kindness, and deep connection.» Closing with words of support, she added: «This day reminds us of the importance of care, understanding, and hope. Please know, you are not alone.»
The princess was in remission from cancer as of January 2025.
