Hundreds of Yekaterinburg Residents Attend Opening of Badenland

The opening of the new thermal resort «Badenland» in the building of the former shopping center «Komsomoll» attracted many Yekaterinburg residents.

The first visitors noted that the wardrobe sections are already full of outerwear, and a long line has formed at the reception desk. Animators in costumes of characters from «Derevnya Durakov» (Fool«s Village) have been organized for children.

However, the pool is not crowded: thanks to the large area, guests are evenly distributed throughout the complex.
The first floor is designed in a tropical style and includes a pool with an area of 1,200 square meters. A VIP zone, a children«s spa zone, and a panoramic sauna are also equipped here. An outdoor pool is planned to open in two months.
On the second floor, designed in Russian style, there is the «Bogatyr» (a Russian epic hero) bathhouse with a capacity of up to 100 people, several small steam rooms, and a bar with a huge samovar.
Initially, the project launch was announced for December 25, but the opening was postponed by a month.
In 2024, another thermal complex, «Yuga», has already begun operations in Yekaterinburg.
