It is a regionally significant cultural heritage site «The House of Bagautdinova (Marjani) — Apanayeva» built in 1873, located at 44 Marjani Street. The building has five rooms with a total area of 204.2 square meters (approximately 2,200 square feet).

The starting price of the house is 9,323,465 rubles ($93,200 at current rates), with an auction step of 466,173 rubles ($4,700 at current rates). The auction is scheduled for March 3, 2026.

In the summer of 2025, the Vakhitovsky District Court of Kazan seized the mansion from Bekmambetov at the suit of the district prosecutor«s office »for the seizure of a cultural heritage site that was not being properly maintained.« The decision was made in absentia.

In 2019, Bekmambetov married former assistant to the head of Tatarstan Natalia Fishman. She left Russia on February 20, 2022. Officially, no one spoke about her departure.

Recall that it was previously reported that a two-room apartment of Kazan serial killer Igor Ptitsyn will also be put up for auction. The proceeds will be directed to pay compensation to the victims (he owes 1–1.2 million rubles, or $10,000–$12,000 at current rates). The housing will be assessed and sold, and by law, Ptitsyn will be left with 2 million rubles ($20,000 at current rates).
