Heavy Snowfall Cancels Over 20 St. Petersburg-Moscow Flights

On January 27, heavy snowfall in Moscow forced Sheremetyevo Airport to suspend aircraft arrivals from 9:00 to 12:00, leading to mass flight cancellations.
At St. Petersburg«s Pulkovo Airport, by noon, six departures to the capital were delayed, operated by airlines Rossiya Airlines, Aeroflot, and S7. Additionally, twelve Rossiya Airlines flights and one Pobeda Airlines flight were fully cancelled, most of which were bound for Sheremetyevo.
In the reverse direction, from Moscow airports Sheremetyevo and Vnukovo to St. Petersburg, 11 flights scheduled for January 27 were also cancelled. Almost all of them were supposed to be operated by Rossiya Airlines.
On the carrier Rossiya Airlines« website, a feedback form is available for passengers, but it was not possible to promptly obtain a comment regarding the cancellations through it.
