Heating Restored to 64 Apartment Blocks After Pipeline Repair

Heat supply is being restored to 64 residential buildings in the Moscow District of St. Petersburg following the completion of repair work on a heating main.
At 73 Bassennaya Street, a crew replaced a 2.5-meter (8 ft 2 in) section of an 800-millimeter (31 in) diameter pipeline. The work was finished three and a half hours ahead of schedule.
«As of 7:40 AM, all subscribers are connected. Notifications about the completion of work and the need to connect heating systems are being sent to the management companies,» the St. Petersburg Heating Network company reported.
The pipe damage, discovered the day before, was being repaired from 11 AM onwards. Hot water supply was maintained, but the supply of heating was temporarily limited.
