On the night of January 24, residents of Kirovsky District again faced cold radiators and lack of hot water. Numerous complaints have come from local residents, and similar reports have appeared in district social media.

«Another accident at TEC-15 (Heat and Power Plant No. 15). Lenya Golikova Street, no heating or hot water since yesterday,» wrote Olesya. In the comments of the district community, her neighbor Yekaterina supported her. Olga from Stachek Avenue, building 220k3, reported around midnight: «The radiators and hot water are barely warm.» In the morning, she confirmed that the situation had not changed.

The cause of the disruptions was a defect in the pipeline, not an accident at the heat and power plant. Work is underway near building 63 on Veterans Avenue, where specialists are localizing a breach in a pipe with a diameter of 600 mm. Earlier on this section, hot water leakage occurred, but no one was injured.

According to the energy committee, the hazardous section has been cordoned off. The standard repair time is 20 hours. From 8:00 PM on January 23 to 4:00 PM on January 24, heating is limited in the block, but hot water supply is being provided without restrictions. The Smolny (city administration) assured that specialists will make every effort to complete the work ahead of schedule.

The day before, Kirovsky District was already without heat due to an accident at TEC-15. The incident occurred early in the morning, but by 11:00 AM, the water heating boilers were gradually started up.
