Hearty snacks and sweets served at Governor Chibis's press conference

Today in Murmansk, a press conference by Governor Andrey Chibis is taking place. The head of the region will sum up the work in 2025, outline development priorities for 2026, and present awards, letters of gratitude, and honorary certificates to media representatives.

A buffet was prepared for journalists at the event: the tables held tartlets, buns, pastries, coffee, tea, and water.

Journalists from 51.RU are also present in the hall to ask their questions. We will publish all the interesting and important things in the live broadcast.

Andrey Chibis«s press conference lasted over four hours. Journalists, bloggers, as well as administrators of public pages and channels gathered.
The first question asked to the governor was about gas prices. Then Andrey Chibis answered whether the timelines for major repairs would be accelerated. He was also asked what would happen with garbage in the region and whether new production facilities would appear.
51.RU journalist Alexandra Balaba asked the governor if it was possible to do something about fish prices: according to Vladimir Putin, Russians lack this product in their diet.
The press conference was very emotional in parts; at one point, Andrey Chibis sincerely admitted whom he»d like to punch in the face.
Many topics were raised at the meeting with journalists: what the savings in the budgetary sphere would lead to, why the snow in Murmansk is black again, what is happening with medicine, and how to speed up the process of relocation from dilapidated housing.
