Heart Breaks with Pain for Professor and Former Deputy Governor

Doctor of Economic Sciences and professor at Knyaginin University Vasily Kozlov died in Nizhny Novgorod at the age of 78. This was reported by university representatives on the VKontakte page.
In 1972, Vasily Kozlov graduated from the Electromechanical Faculty of the Leningrad Polytechnic Institute, then worked for several years at the Sormovskaya CHPP, rising from senior engineer to department head. From 1992–1995, he held the position of deputy governor and headed the department of economics and forecasting of the Nizhny Novgorod region administration.
After that, Vasily Dorofeyevich became the general director of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Fund for Training Financial and Management Personnel, where he worked until 2001. From 2004 to 2016, he headed the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Institute of Management and Economics of the Agro-Industrial Complex, and then continued his professional activity at Knyaginin University. The educator is the author of more than 100 scientific works.
In the comments under a post published by his daughter, acquaintances and close friends of the professor expressed condolences and shared warm memories.

Last week in Nizhny Novgorod, Svetlana Seyfi died — an honored teacher of Russia, who worked at school No. 66 for more than 60 years.
