Governor Outraged as Waste from Garbage Truck Buries Cars Near Semenov

Over the past weekend, a video shot on the highway near Semenov began circulating on social media. The footage shows an overflowing garbage truck from which waste is flying out while moving, spreading all over the road. This incident also came to the attention of Gleb Nikitin, the governor of Nizhny Novgorod Region. In his Telegram channel, he commented on the work of the regional operator.

According to the head of the region, during loading, utility workers exceeded the permissible limit, causing garbage to fly out of the truck during movement. Waste carried by the wind flew directly into the windshields of cars driving behind.

“Negligence leading to filth on our roads … The main principle here is unshakable: the culprit cleans up after themselves. The regional operator has brought the area to a proper state, is taking measures so that similar incidents do not recur. Every case will be stopped, and the consequences will fall entirely on the shoulders of the violators,” said Gleb Nikitin.
