Four projects from the Trans-Urals region, which were included in the list of winners of the All-Russian competition «Small Towns and Historical Settlements,» will be implemented this year. Modern recreation areas will appear in Shumikha, Kurtamysh, Petukhovo, and Shchuchye, as reported in the group of the regional department of construction, state expertise, and housing and communal services on the social network VKontakte.
In Shumikha, the embankment of Lake Kopanets will be equipped with a children«s playground, pergolas, and a new coffee shop. In Kurtamysh, the central square of the city will be transformed.
In Petukhovo, Oktyabrskaya Street and the station square will be combined into a single comfortable zone for walks and leisure. In Shchuchye, a beautiful recreational area will be arranged on Marshal Zhukov Street with paths, lighting, and beautiful architectural forms.
According to the acting director of the department of construction, state expertise, and housing and communal services of Kurgan Region, Sergei Tsukanov, contractors will be determined by April 1, and the work itself will begin with the onset of the construction season.
