Russian financial monitoring agency Rosfinmonitoring added iGooods founder Grigory Kunis to its extremist list after a court case.

The Federal Financial Monitoring Service (Rosfinmonitoring) has added St. Petersburg entrepreneur Grigory Kunis to the list of terrorists and extremists. This information is published on the agency«s official website.

His name is included in the list of organizations and individuals for whom there is information about involvement in extremist activities or terrorism.

The specific circumstances that led to Kunis being added to the register are not disclosed.

Kunis, who is the founder of the delivery service iGooods, left Russia on December 18, 2024, after a court case on financing an extremist organization.

In July 2024, the businessman was arrested on the same charge. Guilt was established based on bank transactions. The entrepreneur did not deny his actions and expressed willingness to cooperate with the investigation.

The court sentenced him to a fine of 500,000 rubles (approximately $5,600 at current rates), which was later reduced to 350,000 rubles (about $3,900 at current rates) taking into account the time spent in pre-trial detention. The Petrogradsky District Court found Kunis guilty, but judge Olga Kudashkina released him directly in the courtroom.

State prosecutor Mikhail Russkikh demanded six years in a general regime colony for the entrepreneur.

After Kunis«s departure, the delivery service iGooods came under the management of businessman Roman Yavorsky.
