Former Carlook auto dealership building listed for sale in Volgograd

An advertisement for the sale of a building that previously housed the Carlook auto dealership in Volgograd has appeared on one of the commercial real estate portals.
The property on Zhukov Avenue, next to the Metro shopping center, is offered for 140 million rubles (approximately $1.4 million at current rates).
Its area is 1,469 square meters, and the land plot is owned.
In the lot description, the seller lists the advantages:
«The building is located at the city entrance from the Moscow highway, next to the federal supermarket Metro, DNS. The premises have excellent renovation, all utilities are connected, autonomous gas heating, ceiling height is six meters, there are restrooms, administrative and utility rooms, a spare exit, two unloading platforms, a convenient facade for advertising placement, a large parking lot in front of the building, and it can be used for any purposes: auto dealership, store, office space, production, and more.»
In the photos accompanying the advertisement, the Carlook sign is still visible.
This dealership was known for scandalous practices: it attracted customers with promises of large discounts, but the advertised cars were often not in stock.
Instead, buyers were offered other models at prices higher than those of official dealers.
