Some Akademichesky residents used to cut through the forest and a deep ravine to reach Pavel Shamanov or Sakharov streets via a steep slope, but otherwise the area was unused.
Previously, only a dense forest occupied this entire plot of land.

Now, by 2045, 261,000 square meters of housing will appear on this site, with buildings ranging from 10 to 33 floors. Two underground two-level parking lots are planned, and at the corner of Pavel Shamanov and Ryabinin streets, an entertainment center with a hotel will be built.
