Weather forecasters predicted the imminent end of bitter cold in Volgograd. Warming, according to meteorologists, will come to the city next week, following a change in the weather pattern over the European part of Russia.

In the next three days, it will be cold. On the night of January 25, snow is expected, roads will be slippery, and a piercing northeast wind will blow at a speed of 7–12 meters per second. At night, thermometers will show −19°C (−2°F), during the day it will be slightly warmer — only −15°C (5°F).

Snow will persist into Monday night. During the day, precipitation will stop, and the wind will calm down a bit. At night, they promise −20°C (−4°F), during the day — the same −15°C (5°F). The first signs of warming will begin to appear on Tuesday, January 27, when at night they promise −20°C (−4°F), but during the day it will warm up slightly — to −13°C (9°F).

On Wednesday night, it will be only −14°C (7°F), and during the day on January 28, forecasters promise only −4°C (25°F). On Thursday and Friday, according to meteorologists, the temperature during the day will rise to zero degrees Celsius (32°F), and on Friday night, thermometers will barely cross the zero mark, stopping at 1 degree below freezing (−1°C or 30°F).

No magnetic storms are forecast until the end of January either.

Recall that due to severe frost in Volgograd and Volgograd Oblast on January 24, several events were canceled. They promise to hold them at another time, as soon as the weather permits.
