Flyover near Myzinsky Bridge to open in August 2026

The capital repair of the flyover near the Myzinsky Bridge in Nizhny Novgorod may continue in mid-March. Coordination is being carried out with the contractor. The Transport Department intends to open all lanes for traffic ahead of schedule in August 2026, although according to the contract terms, the completion of work is scheduled only for December of the same year. Currently, work is suspended due to low temperatures. This technological break is necessary according to regulations to ensure quality. Out of three stages of repair, two have already been completed.

The flyover over Suzdalskaya Street is being repaired for the first time in 45 years since its construction. Work started at the beginning of last year. In mid-January, residents of Nizhny Novgorod complained about serious traffic jams in the area of the crossing: the road was narrowed due to repairs, and the closed section was covered with snow.
