The threat to traffic due to water accumulation on Lanskoye Highway in the Primorsky District of St. Petersburg has been eliminated. On the night of February 2, Vodokanal employees diverted the water and restored the area after a water pipe burst.

The incident occurred on the evening of February 1 at the intersection of Lanskoye Highway and Omskaya Street. Eyewitnesses report that in about twenty minutes, the road was flooded so heavily that cars could barely pass through this section.
The cause of the flooding was a technological failure on the cold water supply main. Specialists began eliminating the damage on the morning of February 2.
The press service of Vodokanal assured that the repair work will not affect the water supply in nearby residential buildings.
