In St. Petersburg and the region, variable cloudiness with clearings is forecast, with no precipitation expected. The air temperature will remain below the climatic norm: in the city, temperatures will range from -9 to -11°C (16 to 12°F), in the Leningrad Oblast from -9 to -14°C (16 to 7°F). The wind will be northeasterly, with speeds of 1-6 m/s. Atmospheric pressure is stable and within normal limits — about 761 mm Hg.
In Moscow, the situation is different: a warm atmospheric front associated with a European cyclone will bring snow, at times heavy. This will lead to a significant increase in snow cover. Temperature values will return to seasonal levels: in the capital, -5 to -7°C (23 to 19°F) is expected, in the oblast — -4 to -9°C (25 to 16°F). At the same time, atmospheric pressure will decrease and will be about 743 mm Hg, which is below normal values.
