The Lyalin family from Tyumen has found itself in a difficult situation—they are being evicted from their only home, as relatives insist. Polina Lipenko, a relative of the family, told the editorial staff of 72.RU about this.

The building is officially classified as workshops, not residential premises.

«My father-in-law, Sergey Yuryevich Lyalin, worked on the railway for 27 years! Three underage children are registered at the house: two are mine, and the third is the daughter of my former husband»s brother, who died a year and a half ago. By a court decision, they must move out by 10 February. Russian Railways (RZD), based on its own inspection, deemed the house unfit for habitation, saying the water is undrinkable, there«s no ventilation, and many other issues,» the woman wrote and attached a video of the family.

She also sent the 72.RU editorial staff the text of the court decision, which indicates that the house where the Lyalins have lived for nearly three decades is allegedly not a residential space but workshops. The premises are on the balance sheet of RZD.

Sergey Lyalin and his wife have no other housing, Polina Lipenko assures. He received the house in 1993. According to her, the court decision will come into force in three days, and after 20 February they will be on the street.

This concerns the house at Voinskaya Ploshchadka Street, 32a. It turns out this is not the first family facing eviction here—we previously wrote about the Sobolev pensioners, the Lyalins« neighbors. They even appealed to the governor for help. At that time, the Sverdlovsk Railway (SvZD) officially commented on the situation.

«Negotiations were held with the administration of Tyumen regarding the consideration of transferring the object (the workshop building) to municipal ownership. Due to the fact that the building is located in a transport security zone, and considering that the object is non-residential, the request was denied. Work has been organized to vacate the non-residential premises,» the press service of SvZD reported.

We have also requested a comment from the railway«s press service regarding this situation. A response is awaited.
