Jeffrey Epstein wanted to involve top Hollywood stars in filming a biographical movie about his life. This emerged from millions of documents related to the pedophile and pimp«s case, released last week.

In correspondence dated 2008, Epstein expressed a desire to create a feature film. In one email, he mentioned that former Donald Trump advisor Steve Bannon wanted to make a documentary, but Epstein himself preferred a narrative film.
The financier asked a friend which actor they preferred for the film: Pitt or Clooney.

«Who should play me…,» he wrote, and then added: «Anthony Hopkins could play Terje.» This presumably referred to a suggestion for Hopkins to portray Norwegian diplomat Terje Rød-Larsen.
In the same email chain addressed to a friend (his name redacted in Department of Justice documents), Epstein asked: «Would you prefer Brad Pitt, George Clooney, or Jack Nicholson to play you?» He noted that Hollywood playboy Nicholson would be «more appropriate» for the project, but did not specify why.
An anonymous sender proposed Brosnan as their favorite «James Bond» for the film.

In another letter, the sender of which was not specified, a different proposal was made: «What about Pierce Brosnan? He»s my favorite James Bond.« It was added: »Definitely not Jack Nicholson. I got the hint. No more stress.«
There is no indication that the mentioned actors knew about these discussions or were in any way involved in Epstein«s crimes.
At the same time, the name of diplomat Terje Rød-Larsen resurfaced in connection with another scandal. In the latest batch of documents, a letter was found in which, it is claimed, Rød-Larsen made an offensive statement about Indians. This sparked a wave of outrage online, where users saw it as a sign of racism in Epstein«s circle.
Rød-Larsen, former president of the International Peace Institute and former UN envoy, resigned in 2020 after his name was linked to the criminal. The institute received donations from Epstein«s foundations.
As for Epstein himself, he was convicted in Florida in 2008 in a case involving the prostitution of minors. After a plea deal, he received a reduced sentence and was released in 2009. In 2019, he was arrested on new federal charges of human trafficking, and soon after was found dead in his cell in New York.
