In the unsealed documents related to the case of financier Jeffrey Epstein, accused of running a network for the sexual exploitation of minors, correspondence has been found with a model from Volgograd Oblast named Vera. The girl appears both in personal communication with Epstein and in organizing a meeting for former South African President Jacob Zuma.

U.S. Justice Department materials include photos of Vera, with one shot also featuring another girl.

Since late 2025, the U.S. Department of Justice has been publishing the largest trove of materials in history related to the investigation into Epstein«s activities. Hundreds of gigabytes of data have been made publicly available, including correspondence, screenshots, testimonies, and official documents that mention the names of prominent politicians, billionaires, and members of royal families.
The first traces of Vera in Epstein«s archives date back to July 2007. At that time, in correspondence with Nadia Marchinko—a model, pilot, and airline owner from Slovakia who went missing in 2024—the girl»s visit and the possibility of bringing a friend were discussed.
In November 2007, messages from Vera herself appeared. She provided her new address on Narimanov Street in Volzhsky and wrote that she missed Epstein and New York. The financier, in response, asked her to send photos—both of herself and of the city.
Their personal correspondence continued until the end of 2007. In January 2008, Vera congratulated Epstein on the New Year; in March, she informed him of her move to London and provided her mother«s phone number; and in December, she thanked him for a passport. In each letter, she noted that she missed him.
After 2008, no direct personal messages between them have been found. It is assumed that this may be linked to the leak of her email inbox and password on an anonymous forum in 2014.
However, in March 2010, Vera«s name reappears in correspondence. A certain Mark Lloyd, who introduced himself as a friend of Epstein, invited the girl to dinner with former South African President Jacob Zuma.
Two days later, Lloyd wrote to Epstein, describing the woman (judging by the context, Vera) as «magnificent» and inquiring whether «the island» was operational.
From open sources, data has been found on a namesake of Vera matching the description: a blue-eyed blonde standing 176 centimeters tall (5 feet 9 inches). According to available information, she is 37 years old and was a successful model who worked with agencies in Milan, New York, and London.
Most of Vera«s photos online are shots from model shoots for glossy magazines, including numerous images in bikinis and bras.
On social media, the girl has been active since 2018. On Instagram* (an organization recognized as extremist and banned in Russia), there are few posts: until 2025, photos were primarily taken in various regions of France, especially Burgundy, and the last post in November 2025 shows her against the backdrop of the Prince Albert Memorial in central London.
On LinkedIn* (also recognized as an extremist organization in Russia), Vera indicated that from 2012 to 2017, she studied at the Volzhsky Tatishchev Institute, majoring in management. From 2013, she worked at the five-star Moscow hotel Samfar Aurora, where she began her career as an exclusive assistant to the general manager and rose to sales manager. In 2019, she got a job as an export manager at a French perfume house, where she worked for over six years—until July 2025.
